Current Openings

 

Tax Preparer (Seasonal, Part-Time)
We’re looking for a highly skilled Enrolled Agent (EA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or California CTEC Licensed Tax Preparer to join our team. 

As a Tax Preparer, you’ll be responsible for preparing individual and business tax returns with accuracy and care. This role requires a strong commitment to confidentiality, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients in a simple, clear manner.  A background check will be required after an accepted offer of employment. 

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Prepare and review individual and small business tax returns
  • Consult with clients to gather information and provide guidance
  • Stay up-to-date on federal and state tax regulations
  • Handle confidential client information with the utmost integrity

 

 

What We’re Looking For

 

  • Must hold an active EA, CPA, or California CTEC license
  • In-depth knowledge of tax preparation and relevant regulations
  • Ability to explain complex tax issues in simple, client-friendly language
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • A self-starter who takes responsibility for their role and outcomes

 

 

Compensation
This is a seasonal position with part-time hours available during tax season. Compensation is a minimum hourly base pay of $17 to $20 per hour plus commision on each tax return prepared. Compensation will be based on experience, credentials, and performance. Additional bonuses may be offered based on quality and efficiency of the office during  tax season.

 

Tax Office Assistant (Part-Time, Seasonal)
If you’re a detail-driven, multi-tasking pro who’s ready to support tax return preparation, receptionist duties, and general office operations, we’d love to hear from you. This role requires integrity, adaptability, and a people-first attitude.  A background check will be required after an accepted offer of employment. 

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Greet and assist clients in-person and over the phone
  • Support tax preparers with document collection and client follow-up
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining client records
  • Manage general office duties to keep the office running smoothly
  • Uphold confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive client information

Compensation
This is a seasonal position with part-time hours available during tax season. Compensation will be based on experience and skills, with a minimum starting wage of $17 per hour plus an additional bonus at the end of the tax season.
