GROVER BEACH — The Clark Center for the Performing Arts recently announced the 2022 band lineup for the Stone Soup Music Festival on August 27-28, 2022 in Grover Beach.
The headliner will be The Young Dubliners, one of the world's leading Celtic Rock bands with tour dates throughout the U.S. and Ireland. They will make a stop here on the Central Coast.
One of the goals for this beloved festival is to bring a variety of genres/styles of music to the community while showcasing local musicians. With over 50 submissions, it was difficult to select only a few. There is an unbelievable amount of talent here on the Central Coast and the Clark Center is proud to have created a schedule featuring mostly local bands. All of the bands in the lineup are new to Stone Soup this year. Bands include Forever Green, Garden Party, Hoapili Pomaika’i Aloha, James Way Band, Lewis & Rose, Mofunk, Molly Ringwald Project, Ramana Vieira and Her Fado-Fusion Ensemble, and The Tipsy Gypsies.
In addition to the bands listed above there will be local dance groups Saturday morning between 10 a.m. and noon (Everybody Can Dance, Dellos Performing Arts Center, Flex Performing Arts, Studio for the Performing Arts).
